This house, located 13Km. from Santiago de Compostela at the top of the Ulla River valley, was the residence of D. Antonio Lopez Ferreiro (1837 - 1910), canon of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, discoverer of the tomb of Saint James and one of the great Galician writers. A founding member of the Real Academia de la Lengua Gallega, occupying chair number 15. His works include "A Bonaval tercedeira", "O Castelo de Pambre", "O Pombas boy" and his masterpiece "The History of Holy AM Church of Santiago de Compostela," which consists of 11 volumes.

In 2010 we finished the rehabilitation and adaptation of the house into a small country hotel with the charm of tradition but without sacrificing comfort. It consists of 9 en suite bedrooms, each with its own style and suggestive names of indigenous grapes, two of which are located in the attic from which you can admire beautiful views. We also offer restaurant and bar service.
In our salons you can enjoy board games or reading a book that you can choose from a wide selection, including some of the works of Lopez Ferreiro.

Beyond the walls of the house, but within the property, you can enjoy walking among the vines and camellias, admire a 400 years old vine and sit in the shade of a centennial magnolia
You can also visit the winery where in addition to receiving details on winemaking can see a stone press that has been working for 400 years.
